This sessions gives dancers an opportunity to learn excerpts of Ohad Naharin’s choreographic works and apply their training in Gaga to the repertory. Classes and repertoire workshop are organised in collaboration with ilDance/Gaga Sweden
Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin throughout many years, parallel to his work as a world-renowned choreographer. Gaga classes are predicated on a deep activation of the body and physical sensations. The research of Gaga is in a continual process of evolution, and the classes vary and develop accordingly.
The workshop is arranged in collaboration with ilDance/Gaga Sweden.
Hani Sirkis, is a dancer who joined Batsheva – the Young Ensemble in 2016 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2018, where she danced until 2022.
Other than her work as a dancer and Gaga teacher, Hani also creates and performs as a drag queen under the stage name “Barbie Cute,” and manages the drag show “Kunty Klub.”
