We're bringing some of the best new talent together to crown one of them our New Comedian of the Year, and you get to choose them!All of the acts in our competition began performing since 2020, which in comedy years makes them a toddler!
We've had 4 heats. each heat featured 8 acts, Each heat the audience's favourite act went through to the final, alongside an act picked by a panel of judges. In the grand final you, the audience, get to pick the winner of the coveted trophy. They'll also win a £300 cash prize thanks to our superb sponsor, 1931 in Birstall, a coaching session with the highly respected comedy writer Rob Halden, who has written for Mock The Week, Comedy Central and The Apprentice: You’re Fired!, and finally they'll get a paid spot at one of Gag N Bone Man Comedy's Dewsbury Town Hall shows in 2026.
