Gafieira Rio Miami, the amazing 11-piece Brazilian big band, will be live in concert on Sunday, April 21st - 8pm, at Sanctuary of the Arts! Led by Latin GRAMMY winner and bassist Diogo Brown, this phenomenal group features samba percussion, a powerful horn section and the lovely vocals of Isa Duarte. This performance entitled “Discovering Gafieira” will celebrate the date Brazil was discovered by the Portuguese in 1500, when they landed on the coast of Bahia.The show will feature songs from the debut album Bring Back Samba, and also new arrangements of classics by Caetano Veloso, Jorge Benjor and much more!
