Hailed as “one of the finest songwriters of the day” (The New Yorker), Kahane is a musical storyteller and Shaw is a 2013 Pulitzer Prize winner for music. They have created a new work co-commissioned by the Newman Center called Hexagons. In the piece, Shaw and Kahane invite the audience to contemplate the joy, grief, wonder, and bewilderment that spring from a life oversaturated in information. This performance takes place in Hamilton Recital Hall.
