Ave de Barro is a Belgian-Mexican trio that brings to life the passion and richness of Latin American music.�Denisse Vargas (vocals) and Stevo Fakoli (guitar) met in 2019 and quickly discovered their shared love for Mexican and Latin American songs. They take you on a musical journey full of emotion, with a focus on the beautiful traditions of Mexican music.�Since 2023, they also perform as Ave de Barro Trio with saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist Tom Callens, known for his work with Lester’s Blues, Lady Linn, Proyecto Secreto, South of the Border and Jamaican Jazz Orchestra.
