About this Event
The 13th annual World Singing Day (WSD) global sing-along on Saturday 19 October 2024 is for everyone — all ages, backgrounds and singing abilities. Founded in 2012 by Colorado (USA) musician Scott Johnson, World Singing Day brings people together in their communities all around the world through the simple act of singing together.
This year, bring WSD to the Fylde Coast. Join us as we learn the 2024 WSD Song of the Year, which is a mashup of “We Are The World” and “Imagine” - no preparation is needed as we'll be learning it from scratch on the day, but if you want to hear it, you can listen here:
The session will also include some fun warm-up activities and a singalong of a well-known rock song to finish!
Admission is strictly by ticket only and numbers are limited - prices are:
Adults (16 and over) - £6.50
Under 16s - £4.00
Under 16s will not be admitted without an accompanying adult who is staying for the duration of the event. Under 18s will not be permitted in the bar area (the event takes place in the function room upstairs).
A donation from ticket sales will go to , a newly formed community choir open to ex-service veterans on the Fylde Coast.
