With over 30 years of experience in nonprofit health leadership, Ben has dedicated his career to improving mental health outcomes across Tennessee. His passion for early intervention led to the creation of innovative programs like Mental Health 101, the Peer Recovery Call Center, and the Treatment Access Bank. Ben’s deep personal connection to mental health drives his mission to create lasting change.

Owner, Farragut Fit Body Boot Camp
A lifelong advocate for physical health, Don’s fitness journey began in 1975 with amateur bodybuilding competitions and publishing work in fitness magazines. After a successful career at La-Z-Boy, Don retired in 2022 and embarked on a new mission: helping people achieve health and vitality through physical activity. He and his daughter Nena launched Farragut Fit Body Boot Camp, offering 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts with personalized guidance in a group setting. With decades of experience promoting health and fitness, Don’s mission is clear: get people up, moving, and living their best lives.
We’re proud to partner with Tennova Turkey Creek as they are generously providing the venue and lunch for attendees. Signs will be placed on the Ground Floor directing attendees to the classrooms in which the event will take place.
