About this Event
Hildebrand Farm is part of 210ha Beeston Hall Estate comprising of arable, grassland, woodland and lakes. Conservation has been very important to the owner alongside commercial farming and continues efforts are made to improve habitats and transition to regenerative principles. The farm walk route of 1.7 miles is mostly flat but please bring suitable footwear as part of it may be muddy if the rain continues to fall. There will be several stops with short talks delivered by FWAG team, Forestry Commission, estate’s contract farmer and Howes Percival who are very kindly sponsoring the catering for the event. There will be plenty of time after the walk to delight your taste buds with venison burgers (wild red deer from the estate) washed down with a selection of Woodfords Brewery beer. We look forward to seeing you there!
