We’re back! The 1st meeting of the year is going to be a big one. In honor of Cancer Awareness Month, our guest speaker will be Dr. Maria Ellis, a member of Casting for Recovery (CFR), CT. CFR is a national non-profit which supports women with breast cancer. At a CFR retreat, which is held annually in CT, fly fishing is taught, as the “…gentle motion of fly casting serves as physical therapy to those who have undergone radiation or surgery…” CFR is a wonderful organization within our State. Join us at our 1st meeting of the year and listen to a great speaker talking about their organization. They support us at our annual banquet also. Remember to come early and order dinner, or order during the meeting. We’ll also have our usual great raffle! Bring your family/friends. Everyone is welcome at all of our events.
