Free lunch and learn for adults to socialize and learn something new. For November, Molly Eller, the Burke County Veteran Service Officer will be the speaker. Officers are part of a network of federal, state, and county agencies providing personal assistance to veterans, their dependents and/or surviving spouses and children, as well as those on active duty and members of the Reserves and the National Guard in obtaining veterans benefits. Her office is in the Burke County Senior Center at 501 N. Green St., Morganton. Please RSVP by Nov 18 if you want to eat lunch.
