Join the AFA for our next public program, a roundtable discussion inspired by Future Now: Virtual Sneakers to Cutting-Edge Kicks, a new traveling exhibition co-organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Bata Shoe Museum.
Operating at the intersection between form and function, innovation and imagination, today's footwear designers are pushing the boundaries of what wearable fashion can and should be. This program's featured panelists will consider how social justice initiatives and technological advancements have put footwear at the forefront of fashion innovation today.
