The DPI Future Imagemakers program at NYU Tisch is excited to present the work of 12 incredibly talented high school photographers who have spent the spring semester developing personal photographic projects that address the myths that movies create about love, the New York City that tourists don’t always see, the pressures and joys of growing up, the desire to escape into other worlds, the fleeting and beautiful moments in this one…and so much more. There will be an awards ceremony at 2:30. Please join us to celebrate these visionary young people and their work and have some ice cream cake!

Future Imagemakers is a free digital photography workshop for NYC aread high school students in the Photography & Imaging Department and part of the Future Artists program at NYU Tisch. We believe in the power of photography to celebrate diversity and intersectionality, and to address racism, gender discrimination and all forms of intolerance. We seek to expand boundaries and learn from each other.
