About this Event
Join the 2025 IDEA Fellow cohort of AFP Silicon Valley on Tuesday, September 16, for a dynamic luncheon celebrating perseverance, innovation, and adaptability. We’re gathering for a powerful afternoon with emerging and established leaders and mentors of diverse backgrounds for an honest and inspiring conversation about what fundraising looks like in 2025.
Throughout the past year, fundraisers have learned to confront political shifts, funding uncertainty, and growing backlash against equity-focused language and initiatives. For fundraising professionals from marginalized communities, these challenges are often compounded by the realities of working within institutions where they are underrepresented and undervalued. Our speakers will reflect openly on these evolving dynamics and share stories of success, resilience, and adaptation. Expect transparent dialogue about proven practices, reworked strategies, and lessons learned in moving missions forward during complex times.
