About this Event
Colorado has made strides in increasing transportation opportunities, including transit and roadways, highlighting the connection between transportation and land use practices, outlining steps to protect our climate and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and increasing funding for passenger rail. And yet, we know legacy system improvements are lagging, and adequate funding is always a challenge.
Following the November 2024 election – and as Colorado prepares for the 2026 election cycle, which will lead to a time of transition in our political landscape – Move Colorado is focused on what’s next for transportation in our State. Join Move Colorado for a breakfast panel discussion with elected thought leaders where we will focus on what issues are, or should be, top of mind, and what is the role for both the public and private sector in Colorado’s transportation future.
Panelists Include:
The Honorable Phil Weiser, Attorney General, State of Colorado
The Honorable Barbara Kirkmeyer, Colorado State Senate
