One of the biggest innovations currently being investigated is wireless fencing. How does it work, and what are the practical implementations? Wireless fencing involves grazing animals wearing a GPS collar which plays an audible melody and if necessary, emits an electric pulse to the neck to deter the animal from crossing a virtual boundary. During this event, Aurelie Aubry (AFBI) will give an update on the latest research, as well as an overview of how it works and practical considerations. This event is aimed at livestock farmers from across the borough.
