EASY IN MOTION
In dance we need body control, posture and stability, but also flexibility, fluidity and softness. It can be very difficult to find balance here. Stiffness and/or pain after dancing, but also in everyday life, are not uncommon. In this workshop we will develop a deeper understanding of body control and tension, how they are helpful and how they are counterproductive, how they relate to dance, quality of movement and well-being. In addition to some theoretical foundations (anatomy, physiology, neurology), we will apply practical exercises and movement concepts that will help us to sharpen our body awareness, release unnecessary tension and find ways to regulate our body control more dynamically in dance. We will apply and fuse the inputs into a combo/movement routine for you to take home.

WAVING TECHNIQUE AND FLOW (Open Level):
In this workshop, we will be introduced to the art of waving, delving deep into both the foundational techniques and the underlying principles that drive them. By understanding the logic behind the movement, we’ll gain a more profound grasp of how to create the illusions we want through our waves. Once we’ve researched that, we will transition into exploring flow—connecting continuous motion throughout space while simultaneously maintaining the natural rhythm and fluidity of waves within our bodies. This combination of technique and flow will allow us to create dynamic, seamless movements that captivate and engage.

CONCEPTS (Intermediate Fusion Dancers)
In this workshop, we’ll dive into the world of concepts, with tracing as our primary focus. We’ll explore and break down what a concept truly is, using tracing as a foundation to understand how to apply the tools we already have in order to create and build upon it. As we dive deeper, we’ll also learn how to adopt this method and apply it to other concepts, unlocking our creativity and expanding our approach. This process will not only help you understand the concept of tracing, but also enhance your overall creative thinking and ability to innovate.

INFINITE FLOW (intermediate)
On the base of 2-4 liquid fusion flow combinations we will layer different body movements and explore a bit the possibilitys of changing the combo with dynamics, angles, positions and quality of movements. Changing just a tiny de tail sometimes makes a whole new combinations and i want to inspire you to play!
