On the last weekend of Novemeber, the European Fusion Scene celebrates the principles of consent and respect. We give our voices against sexual violence particulaly within social dance scenes.We'll be supporting our partner organisation HOSI Salzburg:
** All donations collected during this event will go to HOSI Salzburg to help fund the running of De-escalation workshops and training courses in Prevention of Sexual Violence **
In class we'll emphasise how we can incorporate consent and boundary setting into our dancing, using playful exercises to bring it into practice.
We’ll dance at HOSI Salzburg — starting at 19:00. After the 1.5 hour class we’ll have social dancing until 22:00 – you’re very welcome to just join us for the social dancing at 20:30.
With this event we are collecting donations to support initiatives that tackle sexual violence - and our donations will go directly to HOSI Salzburg to help them provide further workshops and trainings around this theme (we suggest a donation of 5-15 Euros), but please don’t let lack of funds stop you joining.
The event is drop-in – no registration and no partner required. But feel free to bring someone along!
