Glass fusing is the art of layering glass and firing it in the kiln to permanently join the design and give it texture and shape. In this two hour group class you will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing:· To cut and shape glass.
· How to lay out and secure your design.
· Which fuses are used to achieve different textures and give shape.
You will decorate a 4" x 5" base and select your fuse. We will fire the glass and attach it to a nightlight so it is ready to plug in and light your way.
Need a creative boost? We have wine, cocktails, tea, coffee, or soda for you to enjoy while learning this exciting medium!
Please note: This class is for beginners to learn the basics – no experience is necessary and all tools are provided. This class is suitable for adults and children aged 10 and up. Your piece will be ready approximately 7-10 days after your class. We will notify you by call or text when your piece is ready to be collected.
Cost: $10 class fee + $35 project cost to make a 4" x 5" night light
