Instructor: Kathleen ForneySkill Level: Beginner
In this afternoon class, fused glass artist, Kathleen Forney, will review the fundamentals of working in fused glass while creating a beautiful festive holiday plate! Students will learn techniques for cutting glass & incorporating glass into a pattern of their design on a clear glass palette. The piece will be taken to Kathleen’s studio and fired twice in the kiln. The first firing will melt the glass and the second will mold the glass into a finished plate!
All materials are included in the tuition. This workshop is appropriate for students aged 10 and up.
