Copper Cat Studio's in-house glass fusion and mixed media artist, Donna Smit, guides students in creating a glass fusion centerpiece. The centerpiece is approximately 6” x 6” and comes with a plastic stand and a LED candle that sits nestled behind the glass to illuminate a stunning centerpiece. This is a beginner level class and the first hour will begin with an extensive lecture on the science of glass, glass cutting and design principles. Donna will teach students several different techniques and designs. All materials and tools for use are included. Previous glass cutting experience is helpful but not necessary. Projects need to be left at the studio for a few days to be kiln-fired.Class size is limited to eight students. This class is for Ages 15+. Please wear shoes that fully cover your feet (No Sandals or Flipflops)
