Join us for this point to point hike that is mostly on the Horse-Shoe Trail, a long distance trail in Pennsylvania!NOTE: MEET AT HAY CREEK ROAD SOUTH SIDE. This is the Scarlet Mills side, NOT the Birdsboro side. The road no longer goes through.
This hike will be about fifteen miles tracing the trail between the Scarlet Mills area and Knauers PA where we last left off.
We'll be on varied terrain; sometimes the trail follows back roads or private driveways. Other times, it follows utility clearings, old woods roads, or just simple foot paths through pleasant woods near the area of Alleghenyville and Plowville PA, two of the villages we'll be passing through.
Most of the terrain is only gently rolling so it's not terribly tough.
