This fun, female-forward event is for ALL ages. Don't worry about makeup or club clothes - but do wear athletic shoes and get ready to sweat!
Hard Times Require Furious Dancing - the title of a book of poems by Alice Walker - suggests that even in times of hardship and sorrow, finding joy and resilience through dance and celebration is essential.
Carpe Chorro, a group of local women, has been hosting dance parties for over a decade. Invite your mom, daughter, friends, and neighbors and come move your body! The music will be DANCE music from across the decades and will be all about BAD ASS FEMALE EMPOWERMENT!
Please register and pay $10(includes fees) on Eventbrite so we know how many folks are coming (and so we can pass on some rental fee to host and bring water, etc). Mark your calendar now and plan to join us for this monthly event through the Fall. Trust us, you'll be glad you did! See you soon!
