Whitman County Humane Society invites you to join us for the 17th Annual Kentucky Derby FurBall! Race to the rescue and bet for a better future on February 22, 2025. Doors open at 5:00 PM for Yappy Hour.Our community's non-profit, no-K*ll animal shelter cares for about 600 animals each year until they find their new homes. In 2024 our shelter spent over $70,000 on vital veterinary care for animals in need, reunited 80+ lost animals with their owners, and provided over 90 meals to pet parents in need. Whether you're interested in buying tickets, attending, volunteering, or becoming a sponsor, we’d love to have your support!
