New to trapping or looking to hone your skills on fur handling? This workshop will focus on the skinning, fleshing, and boarding various fur bearing animals. Led by the experienced members of the York County Chapter of the Maine Trappers Association, you will get an in-depth lesson on how to properly handle fox, coyote, muskrat, and beaver and board the fur the correct way. Over the course of this 3-hour workshop participants are welcome to watch, participate hands-on, and bring a fur bearing animal at multiple stations to gain greater insight on what it takes to be profient.
