Volunteers will break into teams of four, with an ARC leader in each vehicle, and we'll visit thrift stores in Minneapolis to encourage them to adopt a fur-free policy for the items they put on the shelves.
We'll meet at Ethique Nouveau for a brief overview of the state of the fur industry, including recent wins against multi-billion dollar companies.
Each team will be asked to hand pre-written letters to store managers. The letters explain the horrors of the fur industry and provide instructions for how to partner with our Cuddle Coats program.
To support participating stores, we’re also developing a window cling that lets them proudly display their commitment to compassionate retail practices.
After the outreach event, we’ll all meet up to share stories and celebrate over supper at a local vegan restaurant!
