About this Event
Let's get more kids on bikes! In 2024 we celebrated Native American riders. In 2025 we are celebrating the African Diaspora. Portland Metro Composite MTB team (6th-12th grade riders) is partnering with WarPaint Outdoors, an indigenous-led nonprofit, to highlight BIPOC individuals and share their stories and experiences, fostering inclusivity and diversity, and BikePOC PNW that strives to create a brave space for BIPOC folks to ride, learn, and build community. By amplifying the achievements and contributions of BIPOC athletes, we aim to inspire others and break down barriers within the outdoor community. Come join us!
Soul Food from Southern Kitchen is available for the first 100 interested folks with all profits going to Black Student Unions from Benson Polytechnic HS and McDaniel HS. There will be a silent auction to benefit the two nonprofits and a bake sale provided by adolescent PMC riders. We want EVERYONE to come. Suggested Donation: $5/student, $25/adult. Soul Food: $20/plate + tips to BSUs. Doors Open @ 6:15. Silent Auction ends @7:10. Films and Speakers begin @ 7:10.
