Funny Farm Yardley Stand Up Comedy #7

Charlann Farms harvests laughs with the Funny Farm outdoor (tented*) show on Friday, August 16 at 7pm. Doors & Beverages start at 6pm.
Samantha Ruddy (Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon), Joe Murdock (Helium's Philly's Funniest Winner 2021) and Gene Norris (US & USO tours, ) join Yardley Borough grown host Bronston Jones (CMT, Amazon, Pennwood) bringing the Yucks to Bucks County.**

Yardley General & the Cellar serve delicious drinks from the TipsyPose mobile bar starting at 6pm. Age 21+.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:

Samantha Ruddy is a Philadelphia based comedian who has performed on the Late Show, Tonight Show, and more.

Joe Murdock is a stand up comedian who won the 2021 Philly's Funniest competition at Helium Comedy Club with a series of fast-paced absurd one liners.

He's performed at Punch Line, is trained in improv, and just recently finished a 2 paragraph bio. This is the final sentence of that bio.

Gene Norris is a comedian/actor from Philadelphia who is natural to the stage. He appeared in several plays and short films as the comic relief. He brings dynamic energy to the stage and believes that laughter is contagious, so pass it on. Gene has performed for our troups in several USO shows. He has performed for several charity groups such as Mothers in Charge, Linda Creed Breast Cancer Awareness, National AIDS Awareness Foundation and numerous private fundraisers.

Bronston Jones (host) grew up in Yardley Borough... Since then he's performed stand-up from coast-to-coast and across-the-pond. He was resident host of Venice Underground Comedy, LA’s biggest independent weekly show for a decade. Bronston has done seven separate Edinburgh Fringe Festival solo hours. Do people find him funny? Some critics loved him. Some hated him. LA Weekly called him “certifiably unique,” which could go either way. You probably missed him on CMT, WEtv and TruTV, and shouldn’t watch or listen to his special “She Has to Take this Call” on Amazon. He apologizes if you do. For fun, you can watch him “act” as a Bad Egg for Animals Australia. Totally unrelated, before comedy Bronston was a commercial and music video director working with such talent as Darius Rucker, Uncle Kracker, Tommy Lee, Whoopi Goldberg, Olympic Gold Medalists, NFL players and more.

VENUE – Charlann Farms is a 6th generation family-owned and operated farm located in Yardley, Pennsylvania. We grow a variety of fruits and vegetables to sell at our retail farm market roadstand. Our award-winning crops include sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melons, cucumbers, pumpkins and much more. Our farm market also sells other specialty items produced and grown by other local vendors.
