About this Event
We’re in conversation with two authors who both shine a light on the dark side of women’s lives with a trademark comic twist. Join best-selling crime writers Joanna Wallace and Jo Furniss to ask, what’s so amusing about M**der?
We’ll also celebrate the publication day of Jo Furniss’s latest novel, DEAD MILE, which is a M**der mystery set in a traffic jam on a gridlocked motorway. Plus, guests will be able to snap up exclusive advance copies of Jo Wallace’s new release, THE DEAD FRIEND PROJECT, which is out elsewhere on July 11th.
Jo Furniss spent a decade working as a broadcast journalist for the BBC around Birmingham, before escaping to live in Singapore, Switzerland and Cameroon. She has now settled in Hove with her family. Her debut, All the Little Children, was an Amazon Charts bestseller. Jo’s latest book, a crime novel called Dead Mile, is a M**der mystery set in a traffic jam on a gridlocked motorway.
Joanna Wallace studied Law at Birmingham University before working as a solicitor in London. She now runs a family business and lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband, four children and two dogs. Her first novel, You’d Look Better as a Ghost, won the Crime Fiction Lover Debut Novel Award. It also became a USA Today bestseller in the US. Her second novel, The Dead Friend Project, is published in July 2024.
