Still buzzing from our last, heavily SOLD-OUT collaboration, we proudly present our seriously sunny contribution to bonfire weekend! Funky Drummer team up with La Rumba on Saturday 8th November at the legendary Yellow Arch Studios with 3 rooms of stunning live music, killer DJs and international party sounds. We’re kitting out the venue stunning laser and lighting displays along with thumping sounds of OHM, Element 5 and mighty Bassfreight sound systems.
Lineup:
- K.O.G – A pioneer of Afro-fusion and charismatic frontman of K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, Onipa and regular guest with Nubiyan Twist, Kweku of Ghana is internationally recognised as an enigma, having performed in over 15 countries and winning the Young Commonwealth Performer award in 2018. K.O.G. is bringing his full live band to headline the club-night. Expect a fusion of influences, merging traditional Ghanaian sounds with contemporary afrobeat, hip-hop and jungle styles through an electrifying live performance of vocals, percussion and dance.
- Ruby Savage - One of the most in-demand tastemakers around, Ruby Savage headlines our Warehouse with a crate full of deep rhythms, soulful beats, and unapologetic energy. Known for her genre-defying sets and magnetic presence on stage, as well as her eclectic knowledge of music off the stage with roles like managing Gilles Peterson's Brawnswood Recordings label, Ruby Savage will be spinning an electrifying mix of House, Afrobeat, funk and cosmic disco alongside MYNA and Flutter.
- Bryte & Burland - Next up in the Main Hall following K.O.G, we have an out-of-festival debut from Bryte (vocalist) & Burland (DJ). Born and raised in Ghana, K.O.G’s fellow countryman, Bryte's sound is a distinctive fusion of afro-electronic, experimental club music, and rap, characterized by its high energy and club-ready beats. He takes influences from Afrobeats & UK funky and his live performances are always delivered with infectious energy and flair. - Through working with Ghanaian artists, Bristol based music-producer, Burland fuses the rhythms and sounds of Afrobeat, Highlife and traditional Ghanaian percussion with 140, Techno, UK Garage & Bass music. His music has received support on BBC6 & BBC1extra from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova and Toddla T. At Shambala Festival 2025 Burland & Bryte stunned crowds with their debut as a duo. We are gassed to present their first out of festival show, and believe me you’re in for a TREAT!
- Completing the lineup in the Main Hall we have British-Khmer DJ, Kom Kom, bringing her high-energy international sounds known for bridging deep connections between migration, identity, playing regularly as part of Sheffield’s DiaspoRIDDIM and as resident DJ for Rebel Soul at Shambala Festival. Regular guest, Chris Welch, opens up proceedings to fly the flag for the PHONETICS crew while Funky Drummer head honcho, Peter Rabbit, closing out the night as he usually does!
- In our Warehouse we have Flutter opening up, well known for her lengthy sets as resident at Apricot Ballroom and Control, full of psychedelic disco, chuggy house and electronica. Closing out after Ruby Savage we have British-born Nigerian, MYNA, who specialises in showcasing the best the African diaspora has to offer. From house and techno to Gqom, baile funk, and percussion-heavy grooves, her multi-genre mixes are infused with energy, rhythm, and nuance -
To complete our 3-room lineup we welcome DJ Patrick, LooCee, Melk & Yanik in the Café. Powered by a punchy Element 5 soundsystem, this lineup promises a diverse range of global party flavours alongside disco, house and breaks!
