Create your own decorated papers and then turn them into a hand-bound book. We will use luscious inks, mica powders, stamps, sponges and stencils to create large background designs. Those will be cut up and form the pages of the book then, add a decorative cover, end papers and stitch the spine with beads. Then the fun begins as each page becomes a canvas full of creative techniques including embossing, folding, cutting windows, adding tags and embellishments, more stamping and fabric. There will also be more tips on painting, inkjet transfers and lettering. Prepare to work quickly, and have fun!! Materials fee includes materials to make the book, bookbinding thread, matte medium, ink jet transfers, inks to dye the papers, crayons for resists, acrylic paint and sponges.
