Join members of the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society to learn about mushrooms and other fungi!
About this Event

Mushroom expert Steven Landseadel will lead us into the woods to explore the fascinating world of fungi! We will meet him at 9 a.m. at Tucker Hill Day Use Area to start our journey. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow for parking and payment of the $2.00 per person fee. Pay online through the Florida State Forests reservation system (ReserveAmerica) at the site.

Wear shoes appropriate for hiking and bring water and snacks as needed. This will be a two hour walk on hiking trails that include tree roots and some hills. A carpool option will be available to those that register.

This event is hosted by the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. Everyone is welcome, including well-supervised children. All participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver upon arriving at the event site.

This event is limited to 20 people.
