Join the Parks Conservancy outside the Field Station at Presidio Tunnel Tops for the Fungus Fair to explore the weird and wonderful world of fungus! Learn the process of how mushrooms grow, how to identify them in the wild, and what ecologists have been learning about fungus in the park. We'll also have face-painting, spore prints, mushroom snacks, and other fun activities for all ages. Registration is not required–feel free to drop by anytime between 10 a.m.-2 p.m.!

Weather can be variable in the Presidio, so we recommend bringing layers in case of fog/wind, and a hat/sunscreen in case it's sunny. Heavy rain will cancel this program. The site is wheelchair-accessible, and gender-neutral, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are available on-site. For more information on accessibility at Presidio Tunnel Tops, please visit: https://presidio.gov/access-and-inclusion-at-presidio-tunnel-tops
This event is fully outdoors, so masks will be optional, but please tune into the others around you and mask up when approaching anyone else wearing a mask.
The Golden Gate National Parks programming is a cooperative parkwide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust.
