Do you know your Fly Agaric from your Amethyst Deceiver? Or your Jelly Ear from your Chicken of the Woods? Believe it or not these are all names of fungi that can be found in green spaces and woods during the Autumn. Last year I attended a walk with the Bromley group, led by expert in the field Bob Harrop, which was a fantastic introduction to many different species of fungi, many of which I had never heard of.I'm very pleased to say that Bob has kindly agreed to lead our group on a Fungi Walk, looking at the ecology and habitats of different fungi families, to take place in the grounds of Down House, Orpington, on Tuesday 12th November from 09:30-12:00 (approx) (Parking available).
Booking is essential so please email Ralph Todd to reserve your space as we only have a limited number of spaces:

We look forward to seeing you there and don't forget your cameras!
