Have you ever wondered how and why mushrooms grow the way they do? Join our interpretive ranger to learn more as we find and identify fungi on and near the trails. Be sure to bring your smartphone or camera! Meet at the Big Ferry Trailhead. 1-2 mile hike.This hike is accessible to visitors who require mobility assistance. Thanks to our partnership with the Aimee Copeland Foundation, an Action Track Chair is now available for reservation at Skidaway Island State Park. Reservations are limited to certified users. Eligibility requirements must be met to qualify for certification. Please visit https://www.allterraingeorgia.org/reserve for more information about becoming certified and making reservations. Getting certified is easy and approval takes about 7 days. All reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
