Machukha [Ukrainian: "step-mother"] utilises elements of post-black metal, dark hardcore, and punk. The band members come from diverse musical, social, and cultural backgrounds. Through mutual understanding and collaboration, they have established a creative process that reflects the band's primary goal: to express their shared experiences of retaining humanity in a harsh world.

UDDA
Olha Udovenko, aka Udda, is a Ukrainian DJ and a former
member of the Kharkiv’s Kultura Zvuku. Working as a club
booker and electronic music school manager, Olha
brought the international attention to Kharkiv’s scene.
Udda’s sound is a trippy and delicate fusion of broken,
bass-heavy rhythms, deep textures, and futuristic
grooves. Since March 2022 Olha is based in Berlin,
gaining recognition and performing globally at venues
like RSO in Berlin, Bassiani in Tbilisi, and Radion in
Amsterdam.

HABITAT SHAKING
Roman Selezinka aka Habitat Shaking is a Berlin-
based DJ, promoter, curator, and activist from Ukraine.
He is a co-founder of the "Chain Reaction" and "Bass
Resistance" collectives, and the "Ukrainian Sound
Garden" festival. As a resident of THF Radio, he is
well-known in Berlin for his modern and groovy
selection of leftfield house, breaks, and bass music.
He has performed at venues like Else, Aedeт, Oxi, and
Re:mise, as well as at Berlin Art Week and Karneval
der Kulturen, and recently made a tour in Brazil.

ANN MYSOCHKA
Ann Mysochka is a DJ from Kyiv, her sets are a tribute
to dance music with engaging vocals, shifted rhythms
and heavy bass lines transcending musical genre
boundaries.

PASSIONFRUIT
Passionfruit – an artistic alter ego of Andrii
Yankovskyi, a music selector, cultural manager,
creative producer, and civil rights advocate. He
is the founder of multiple art projects, such as
HVLV Music Bar, Bass Resistance, Ukrainian
Sound Garden Festival and Kyiv’s first Nightlife
Advocacy Association – UNight. Over the last 2
years Passionfruit has performed in Kyiv, Berlin,
Wroclaw, Liverpool, Barcelona and Montreal.
