Hosted by Artist - Amy Morrow from creARTive workshops - Along side Artists Christine & Netty to help with the hosting of night , All proceeds from the Paint & Sip will be donated to Burnie Coastal Art Group to support BCAG in fundraising and assist with the upkeep of these facilities as well as promoting artists and their work.
As a artists and also a members of Burnie Coastal Art Group it is important that we support the community and fellow artists .
Like Pablo Picasso famously said: “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” We often, as adults, forget that it is important to be creative, have time for ourselves and a safe space to try allow yourself time to just have fun and Eat , Sip n Paint whilst enjoying a fun social night out .
What is included in your Event Ticket :

*A great night out Beautiful Gallery Venue With this years Annual TASARTS EXHIBITION to inspire you from artists all around Tasmania , You might even find a piece on the wall you would like to purchase .

What is included in a painting experience ?
You will be guided through your painting with comprehensive step by step instruction with plenty of room left for your inner-creative to run wild. Along side each table with there own still life display for inspiration .
At the end of the paint and sip you will leave with a wonderful sense of accomplishment ( or sore belly from laughing ) and a beautiful, original painting by yours truly to take home .
Painting runs for approximately 2 hours . Painting will commence promptly at session start time.
We will supply all the necessary equipment, including:
* Your choice of artwork
* Blank canvas Sheet
* Acrylic paints
* Brushes
* Table easel
* Disposable Apron
Paint and sips are a fun social event and great alternative to going out to the movies with your friends to catch up .
What is the fundraiser for ?
As fellow artists and members of Burnie Coastal Art Group , Hosting a night like this and donating the proceeds helps BCAG and supports other Artists within the community and keep BCAG Pumping for many more years to come . Burnie Coastal Art Group - Was created in 1952 by a small group of artists who saw the need for forming group to foster and encourage art in North West Tasmania.
Between 1979 and 1985 a small gallery was established in downtown Burnie, holding many and varied exhibitions.
In September 1985 the group purchased the Uniting Church in Upper Burnie, now known as Studio 2eleven.
In 1979 the group held an exhibition at Hellyer College whic was named the Tasmanian Art Exhibition. The exhibition was moved to the Burnie Regional Art Gallery in 1982 and is now known as TasArt Exhibition. We now hold TASART in our Gallery. To continue this exhibition means a considerable amount of hard work by enthusiastic members.
We are supported by many organisations and businesses who support the arts with their sponsorship listed on website. Always open to more community support and sponsors .

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL
You agree that you will exercise responsible consumption of alcohol during the event. (We want you to arrive home safely).
You agree that you shall only consume alcohol during our public or private events if you are over the age of 18 years. You may require suitable identification to prove your age. If we believe that you are under the age of 18 years and you intend to consume or have consumed alcohol during our public or private event, we have the right to ask you to leave without compensation. Guests will not be served and refused entry if intoxicated or we believe you are intoxicated.
*Attendees are Liable for repair or damage or replacement of equipment caused by negligence within venue .

creARTive workshops in the course of its experiences/events will take images and recordings. By booking this event you expressly and impliedly authorize and permit creARTive workshops to take images and recordings of you, for the promotion and advertising of creARTive workshops and Appleby's Mediterraneo Bar & Grill
If though, you do not wish for us to record your image we ask that you notify us at the beginning of the event.

Public Event Terms of Booking – please read carefully prior to purchase
Please note the following policy applies to all situations, including COVID related cancellations.
As a small business cancellations have a big impact on us. Please do not confirm your agreement with these terms and conditions unless you understand and agree to our cancellation terms and conditions below. We understand people get sick and unexpected things happen in life however in order for us to manage our seating and stock and run a successful business it is important that we adhere to our policy and just like a concert ticket or event a paint and sip is a event ticket .
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds.
( If you are unable to make it you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend but you do need to give the studio 48 HOURS notice of this in email for there name to be noted for setup [email protected] )
*Please also be aware there are facebook scams trying to sell event tickets so never purchase from a scammer and double check with the studio if this was purchased .
