REBELS, RADICALS AND REFORMERS – A WALKING TOUR OF BLOOMSBURY
About this Event

Since its development at the end of the 17th century, Bloomsbury has always been a cradle of knowledge, new ideas and artistic pursuits. In its leafy squares and behind its perfectly proportioned Georgian terraces, groundbreaking novels were written, reform movements were born and pioneering medical history was made.

 Intrigued?

Join Elena Paolini, accredited Camden Tour Guide, on this walk in the footsteps of culture makers and shakers: we will meet members of the famous set who “lived in squares and loved in triangles”, an intrepid Victorian adventuress, the “queen of crime” (but not as we know her) and even a princess turned real-life spy. Along the way, we will marvel at a variety of historic buildings and open spaces, which make Bloomsbury such an iconic place today.
