Funded Group C Safeguarding Training 24th & 31st August 2024

This event is available to Childcare providers and childminders operating their business in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

This training takes place over 2 sessions, Saturday 24th August (On-Line) and Saturday 31st August (Face to Face, Pontypridd YMa) 09:30 - 16:30 ALL SESSIONS MUST BE ATTENDED TO GAIN CERTIFICATION.

Any persons who work as a Registered Individual/Person, Childminder, Setting Manager, etc, will need to complete a Group C course. If you have no safeguarding experience it is recommended you first complete a Group B course before completing a Group C.

We are able to allocate 12 spaces on a first come first served basis.

Please be aware this training is offered to the whole sector, where demand is exceptionally high we may limit the spaces available per setting.

If you are booking spaces for your staff, please ensure you input your staff’s details when booking the session.

This session will be conducted via a hybrid module. Please see above for further details of where face to face training will take place.

We will require 48 hours’ notice if you are not able to attend a training session. (In extreme circumstances we understand that this may not be possible.)

If you do not notify us within the time frame above, you will receive a failure to attend email, failure to respond will result in the setting you work within being restricted from accessing any training offered by the Childcare Team for a period of 2 months

If, after the time of booking, you need to make any changes, or cancel, your booking, please notify the Childcare Team by e-mail.
