Methods & strategies for the success of maintenance professionals.
About this Event

The maintenance process has a measurable effect on the safety, quality, and production output of a manufacturing company. Without a strategy or the experience necessary engrained in a Maintenance Department, the company’s equipment efficiency and output is destined to suffer. The upfront costs of performing preventative maintenance may seem stark, but maintaining equipment should be considered a mission critical investment.

This Fundamentals of Maintenance Excellence Workshop is a chance to revisit methods and strategies necessary for the success of new or seasoned maintenance professionals.

Did you know:

· In a typical maintenance department, 90% of jobs are to repair equipment after it breaks down.

· A reactive maintenance job can cost 5-10 times more than a proactive-planned job, because reactive/expedited job costs (parts & labor) must be absorbed and are non-negotiable to-dos.

· Preventative maintenance lengthens the lifespan of your assets. Keeping equipment in good condition extends its useful life and delays expenditure of capital expense and the risk associated with replacement.

This session will cover:

· Maintenance Excellence “101”

· Fundamentals of Maintenance Management

· Introduction to PM (Preventative) and PdM (Predictive) Maintenance

· Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

· Root Cause Analysis for Maintenance

· The Methodology of Troubleshooting
