Grant writing provides access to significant funding for projects and initiatives without needing to repay the money back. Did you know that LLCs formed as for-profit entities can be eligible to apply for certain grant funding particularly from government agencies and private foundations that offer grants specifically designed for small businesses? Tackling grant applications with precision and clarity can be daunting but it's essential for securing those critical funds for your nonprofit organization and LLC for-profit small business. Our nonprofit organization will be hosting a grant writing workshop on Saturday February 8 2025 from 10:30am – 3:30pm at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center. The following topics will be discussed during the workshop:
How do I become grant ready
Understand the fundamentals of grant writing
Identify potential sources of grant funding
Understand common requests on grant applications and how to answer them correctly
How do I draft a business plan
How do I write annual and program budgets
In addition participants will also receive a 40-minute break in which our staff will serve free catered lunch from Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant. Vegetarian meal options will be available. Due to limited space we encourage you to reserve your seat today. The registration deadline is Friday January 31 2025. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our main office at (678)977-9703.
