Fundamentals of a Successful Grants Program ~Part of the Pamplin School of Business Learning Labs series
Join us for a hands-on grant-writing workshop led by Brie Richards of ! Brie is a seasoned grant writer with nearly fifteen years of experience in securing funding for nonprofits across various sectors, and will graduate from the Pamplin School of Business with her MBA in Nonprofit Management in Spring of 2025.
In this workshop, you'll receive expert guidance on the fundamentals of creating a strategic grants management program for your nonprofit, and also get some hands-on grant-writing experience in real time to begin crafting a proposal for funding for your organization. Our goal is to equip you with the tools, confidence and practical skills needed to begin partnering with foundations to propel the mission of your organization.

1) Where to start and how to evaluate what size of a grants program your nonprofit is ready for; 2) Creating a global grants template; 3) Standard attachments; 4) All about grants budgets; and 4) Keeping a grants program organized.

Andy has served as a successful advancement and organizational leader for over 20 years. He is passionate about helping organizations grow into their vision. Andy has experience and gifting in strategic planning, capital campaign leadership, major donor relationships, annual fund development, financial management, and leadership development.
Halie Peplinski, Project Strategist
Halie is a dynamic professional who is passionate about helping non-profits and community organizations strategically and sustainably grow their impact and better serve their communities.
