Join us for Fundamentals of Palms: Principles, Problems, and Potential! This 3-hour workshop is designed for enthusiasts, horticulturists, and landscape professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of palms.
We will explore the historical and cultural relevance of palms, discuss unique features that define various palm species, as well as a focus on the best practices for selecting and maintaining palms in diverse landscapes. This will include identification and management of disorders plaguing palms. We will cover pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stressors, providing valuable insights into maintaining healthy palm populations. Through hands-on demonstrations, participants will also learn how to effectively sample for lethal bronzing, a crucial skill for early detection and management.
From urban environments to tropical paradises, we will equip you with the knowledge to make informed choices and ensure the vitality of these majestic plants. Join us for an engaging and informative experience that goes beyond textbooks, offering a blend of lecture and hands-on applications. Cost for Webinar Registration: $35 per person.
