Queer people deserve to live financially independent lives. But a number of factors, including political vitriol, threaten our well-being. In this fireside chat, Cristina and Nick (who've known each other for 15 years now!) will discuss the economic data about LGBTQ+ people that led to this book, the approach he took to appeal to queer readers, and why the "7-word plan" is more important than ever as the cost of living continues to climb.
This event will be part discussion, part Q&A and you'll have the opportunity to have your book signed by the author. Come by and get your copy starting December 31st!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nick Wolny is an author, speaker, and finance columnist for Out magazine. He writes Financialicious, a personal finance newsletter tailored toward queer readers, and has previously written for Fast Company, Fortune, The Advocate and others. A classically trained French hornist by education and rural Illinois boy at heart, he now lives outside Los Angeles.
