This seminar is provided by a certified functional health coach and goes over how to restore a severely damaged metabolism.
About this Event

Obesity is a severe epidemic and the over-simplified, conventional advice isn't truly helping people.

In this seminar you'll learn:

  • How the metabolism works and why Calories-In-Calories-Out isn't the only factor
  • The hormones that regulate hunger and fat storage
  • Understanding how marketing has affected research and the conflicting data we see about food and health
  • Defining inflammation, the root cause of most disease
  • Overview of all of the major dietary theories and how to choose one that's right for you
  • Overview of all of the major toxins used in the food industry
  • Intro to environmental, liver, and cellar detox strategies
  • How food is designed to be addictive and what you can do to recover
  • How to vet food labels and ingredient lists
  • Beginner exercise approaches to increase the metabolism
  • Intro to functional medicine and where to find more patient-centered doctors

We're consuming a copious amount of added sugar and other simplified carbs that spike our insulin, overstressing the pancreas. This leads to insulin resistance, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders.

Additionally, most of the foods we eat today have a combination of plastics, pesticides, heavy metals, and other toxins that block our hormone receptors, increasing hunger while also preventing us from properly absorbing the food we eat. Food that isn't absorbed in our cells for energy is stored as fat.

The truth is that you're not lazy and that your experience of being hungry all the time is valid. When your metabolism is damaged, you're unable to properly absorb your food, leading to a state of being exhausted, malnourished, and obese at the same time.

The purpose of this seminar is to provide the information and resources that people need to finally restore their metabolism and overall wellbeing.
