This one hour class will identify sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest & digest) stress states, how and when we enter both states and how to achieve a healthy balance of these states. We’ll identify stressors from the obvious sources to the not-so-obvious sources, take a look at more insidious stressors, and then talk about possible outcomes from long-term unmanaged stress. We’ll discuss many ways to identify and reduce stress in all general areas of one’s life.
