OY! All you joggers and runners out there- we see you *ALL* the time pounding pavement around town. We know it is because you have been training to participate in Fun with the Fuzz 5k on May 4, 2024. Good news for you- registration is OPEN!! The event, which starts and finishes at Bellingham Police Department, is put on by Behind the Badge Foundation, a trusted resource providing comprehensive support to Washington State’s law enforcement agencies, families, and communities after an officer has died or suffered a serious injury in the line of duty. You can register for the 5k as an individual or as a team (there are prizes for the largest team and the team that raises the most money). In addition to feeling amazing for supporting a good cause, your $20 registration fee will get the first 1,000 people who register a pint glass and a reusable grocery sack (that may sound lame to some of you young whipper snappers... but those things are hot commodities!)
