We love painting with hot wax, also called batik.You can either choose from a variety of designs or make up your own design. Hilary will show you how to transfer them to fabric. You will then learn how to apply the wax onto the design. The final stage is dyeing your fabric with a variety of colours. After it has dried, you will be shown how to remove some of the wax and then apply a second dye if you like, or use fabric paints to embellish your batik.
All materials, refreshments and tuition are included in this fun and interesting no sew workshop. The cost is £40 for this 3 hour fun and creative workshop.
