Join us at the Rockville Science Center for 8 weeks of exciting STEM activities! Get ready to explore the fascinating world of science with hands-on experiences.
Workshops outline:
- November 7: Potential, Kinetic, and Conservation of Energy - Build a balloon powered car
- November 14: Elasticity and Energy of Natural and Synthetic Polymers - Make a bouncing ball
- November 21: Geometry and Earthquakes - Build strong towers
- November 28: Engineering Desing Process - Design and build a better bandage and learn about bleeding
- December 5: Surface Tension - Magic milk, spectacular eruption of color
- December 12: Robotics and Biomimicry - Build a robotic arm that mimics Human hand
- December 19: Learn the physics behind the buoyancy using a fish bladder model
These activities are designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds.
Register for more than 1 class and/or a sibling and receive 10 % discount
