Dive The Iconic Copper Roof House!Where: Copper Roof House (Intermediate Level)
When: November 16th, 8AM
Address: 26125 Scenic Road (Park on Scenic Road near the intersection of Martin Ave.)
The Copper Roof House is a landmark in Carmel for both divers and tourists alike! Built in 1951, this artsy house was designed by famed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. It sits on a little bluff and offers an amazing view of Carmel Bay.
Find a parking spot and either gear up at your car or bring your gear to the beach to set up. No grassy area like at the Breakwater, so if you will be on the beach, bring a blanket to set up on. Well maintained stairs lead from the street down to the beach. There are public bathrooms a short 5 minute walk from the dive spot but there are no rinse showers.
Check www.DiveNTrips.com for weather conditions and possible dive site location changes. Copper Roof House is not as protected as dive spots in the inner Bay as it faces the open ocean so check back to see if there are any last minute site changes.
