MEDICINE WOMAN - Spirit Doll WorkshopHello.... I'm Alison and have been working with Spirit Dolls for 15 years using various mediums. I began my journey after a lucid dream state where I decided to felt the image from my dream and bring it through into the physical reality. Using shamanic journeying, I was able to enter deep dialogue with this 'being' and reach a deeper understanding on how spirit was connecting with me. It was the most profound experience and sharing this work is part of my soul's path...
We will create a Medicine together of crystals, oils, herbs, poetry and song; that will be placed within a felted egg that sits within the body of your doll. This doll will represent the "Medicine" that you carry within you. A doll that you can connect with whenever you are feeling lost in this world. She is the healer, the wild woman, the shamanka, the witch, the herbalist, the visionary, the seer, the intuitive, the mystic, the priestess, and the ceremonalist.
Through the crafting of your doll she will begin to unfold your unique gifts that you can reconnect with so that you may bring them forward into your community.
November 5th is a Super Full Moon and also the Beaver Moon. Beavers build dams to protect themselves from predators. The dams also help to reduce the risk of flooding by slowing the flow of water.
We ask "Where might I be leaking energy?"
We will make a Womb Belt for our dolls to help support and enhance our sovereignty, helping one to retain one's prana/energy. It also creates a powerful shield of protection that allows for creative energy to be contained and maintained.
All materials are included but you might want to bring extra little items for your dolls womb belt... beads, charms, shells....
Please bring your own lunch. Teas and Coffee are provided.
Start 10am and we will aim to finish between 4-5pm.
This is a beautiful day of 13 women sitting in circle, sharing their stories, supporting each other.
As part of the Medicine that goes within our dolls, I am asking for you to bring something to add to the pot... tiny crystal chips, dried herbs, soil or water from a special place, a sacred oil that you love... or perhaps you would like to read a poem that is dear to your heart or a song that fills you with inspiration....
